This makes for a contrast with the other GLs, which are medium sized and infrequently painful, predominantly nodular, and frequent effect on the subcutaneous tissue and atypia.

The information provided here about the clinical and histological characteristics of the different varieties of leiomyomas indicate that there is a need to reconsider the classification of nipple leiomyomas outside the group of GLs. An association between PL and breast carcinoma was detected, which needs to be confirmed in future studies so as to determine if this leiomyoma is a risk marker for breast cancer.

While there is a growing recognition of the inequities in health protection, the rural/urban disparity in access to health services is often ignored. Rural regions accumulate not only habitat effects (dispersion, population size) but also significant demographic imbalances (ageing) and obvious socio-economic disadvantages that define barriers to accessibility. This paper analyses local perceptions of access to health services in order to identify factors that facilitate and hinder continuous primary care and follow-up of referrals.

Qualitative study conducted in the valleys of Aezkoa, Salazar and Roncal (Navarre) between 2012 and 2016. Accessibility was analysed through seven dimensions availability, geography, affordability, accommodation, timeliness, acceptability, and knowledge/awareness. A total of 21 in-depth interviews were carried out with experts (health care personnel), key informants (related to care and local development) and sociological profiles. In neoplastic disease, the decision to initiate administration of curative therapies, especially immunotherapy, should be taken only after any potential risks have been taken into account. Geriatric patients are more susceptible to developing more serious adverse reactions than the younger population. We report the case of an octogenarian patient with non-small cell lung cancer who developed neurologic toxicity following pembroli-zumab therapy. We carry out a differential diagnosis of encephalitis and provide a literature review of pembrolizumab-associated auto-immune encephalitis cases in order to improve our knowledge of this unusual toxicity. An interdisciplinary approach and comprehensive geriatric assessment are essential components to prevent functional decline in the elderly.

The aim was to develop and validate the Complex Case Assessment Index (CCAI), a specific instrument to identify complex patients.

Instrumental study in two phases 1) Development of the scale the variables extracted from the literature were firstly defined and operationalized, and then submitted for expert judgment. The CCAI included 14 variables divided into two dimensions complexity of clinical management and complexity of community management. 2) Psychometric study evaluation of the reliability and validity of the scale by equivalence between observers (Pearson’s r), criterion validity with respect to the Clinical Risk Groups (CRG) classification system, and construct validity through known groups and study of hierarchical clusters were examined. The analyses were carried out with the SPSS version 17 statistical package.

Reliability by equivalence between observers was r?=?0.97 for the clinical subscale, r?=?0.74 for the community subscale, and r?=?0.89 for the total score. The CCAI identified 518 cases as complex; 458 of them (88.4%) were categorized by the CRG system in the categories of greatest clinical complexity (levels 6 to 9). The results support the construct validi-ty of the scale. The cluster analysis showed two different, although related, clusters.

The CCAI is a fast and easy-to-use index, with good conceptual adequacy and evidence of reliability and validity for screening patients with complex needs.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been a time where social media allows increased conversations about it. These conversations have spread various conspiracies about vaccines against COVID-19. It is, therefore, necessary to develop communication strategies, led by official accounts, that offer accessible information on vaccination as a preventive public health strategy. The aim of this study was to analyze the role of public institutions on Twitter campaign #yomevacuno to deal with misinformation about vaccination against COVID-19.

This paper performs a social network analysis and content analysis of Twitter data, using NodeXL software, from December 8

    to 23

    , 2020. Tweets included content #yomevacuno hashtag.

A total of 6,080 interactions were collected, 82% were tweets. Data shows that public institutions generate 53.36% of traffic information, the most important was the

from Spain. Content analysis revealed that 48% of a sample of 50 Tweets the message was focused on vaccination as a social responsibility to defeat COVID-19 pandemic.

    The communication strategy of

of Spain, by comparison to other campaigns in which there was no large presence of public institutions. This case represents the importance of social media as a way to spread information and prevention, even in public health and the need for them to be led by public organizations rather than by individual users.
