Team training interventions to improve team effectiveness within healthcare are widely used. However, in-depth knowledge of how healthcare professionals experience such team training curricula and their implementation processes, as well as how contextual factors impact implementation, is currently missing. The aim of this study is therefore to describe healthcare professionals’ experiences with the implementation of a longitudinal interprofessional team training program in a surgical ward.
A descriptive design was applied based on qualitative semi-structured focus group interviews with 11 healthcare professionals. A convenience sample of physicians (n = 4), registered nurses (n = 4), and certified nursing assistants (n = 3) was divided into three professionally based focus groups, which were interviewed at three time intervals over a period of 1 year.
The validated and evidence-based team training program Team Strategies and Tools to Enhance Performance and Patient Safety (TeamSTEPPS) was implemented inopen communication.
The study suggests that the implementation of a team training program in a surgical ward is dependent on a set of factors related to content, process, context, and impact. Knowledge on how and why a team training program work supports the transferability to clinical practice in further planning of team training measures.

Glioma is a common type of brain tumor and is classified as low and high grades according to morphology and molecules. Growing evidence has proved that long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play pivotal roles in numerous tumors or diseases including glioma. Proteasome 20S subunit alpha 3 antisense RNA 1 (PSMA3-AS1), as a member of lncRNAs, has been disclosed to play a tumor-promoting role in cancer progression. However, the role of PSMA3-AS1 in glioma remains unknown. Therefore, we concentrated on researching the regulatory mechanism of PSMA3-AS1 in glioma.
PSMA3-AS1 expression was detected using RT-qPCR. Functional assays were performed to measure the effects of PSMA3-AS1 on glioma progression. After that, ENCORI ( http//starbase.sysu.edu.cn/ ) database was used to predict potential genes that could bind to PSMA3-AS1, and miR-411-3p was chosen for further studies. NVP-BSK805 The interaction among PSMA3-AS1, miR-411-3p and homeobox A10 (HOXA10) were confirmed through mechanism assays.
PSMA3-AS1 was verified to be up-regulated in glioma cells and promote glioma progression. Furthermore, PSMA3-AS1 could act as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) for miR-411-3p to regulate HOXA10 and thus affecting glioma progression.

Recently, researchers have successfully introduced chiral molecules to the surfaces of nanomaterials, creating chiral nanomaterials that exhibit an upscaling of chiral behavior from the molecular scale to the nanoscale. These chiral nanomaterials can selectively induce autophagy, apoptosis, and photothermal ablation in tumor cells based on their chirality, making them promising for application in anti-tumor therapy. However, these interesting and important phenomena have hitherto received little attention. Accordingly, we herein present a review of recent research progress in the field of chiral nanomaterials for tumor therapy along with brief looks at the mechanistic details of their actions. Finally, the current challenges and future perspectives of chiral nanomaterials in terms of maximizing their potential in tumor therapy are discussed. Thus, this review provides a helpful introduction to the design of chiral nanomaterials and will hopefully highlight the importance of chirality in tumor therapy.
The data with regards to the regional variants of distinct HPV types is of great value. Accordance with this, this study aimed to investigate the sequence variations of E6 gene and long control region of HPV 39 among normal, premalignant and malignant cervical samples in order to characterize the frequent HPV 39 variants circulating in Tehran, Iran.
In total, 70 cervical samples (45 normal, 16 premalignant, and 9 malignant samples) infected with HPV 39 were analyzed by nested-PCR and sequencing.
Our results revealed that all samples belonged to A lineage. Almost all sequences (98.6%) were classified in A1 sublineage and only one sample (1.4%) was A2 sub lineage.
Our findings showed that lineages A, sublineage A1, is dominant in Tehran, Iran. However, the small sample size was the most important limitations of this study. Further studies with larger sample size from different geographical regions of Iran are necessary to estimate the pathogenicity risk of HPV 39 variants in this population.

Participation in sports and physical activity (PA) is a critical resource for children’s health and social development. This study analyzes how the parental socioeconomic status (SES) of children and adolescents affects their PA in sports clubs (organized sports) and outside of sports clubs (unorganized sports) and tests whether the potential impact of parental SES is mediated by the opportunity structure of their residential area (walkability, infrastructure, etc.) and by family and peer support for PA. Furthermore, PA is analyzed respecting differences by gender and migration background.
Using representative data from the MoMo/KiGGS study (2009-2012 and 2014-2017), we take into account about 8000 measurements from about 7000 subjects. We estimate hurdle regression models to analyze the minutes per week spent on sports activities.
Results show that children with a higher parental SES, children living in areas with many opportunities for PA, and children receiving family and peer support are more physically active than children without these features.
