    The primary aim was to investigate serial changes in the mechanical properties of the pectoralis major (PM), upper trapezius (UT), and sternoclavicular mastoid muscle (SCM) in breast cancer patients undergoing radiotherapy (RT) using a hand-held myotonometer. The secondary aims were to determine changes in subjective symptoms and to identify correlation with subjective results.

    A total of 42 breast cancer patients were enrolled in this longitudinal prospective study. Muscle properties of the PM, UT, and SCM were evaluated before RT, immediately after RT, and 4months post-RT. Subjective symptom scales of pain and stiffness at rest/stretch of each muscle were evaluated.

    The PM showed significant side-to-side differences; the affected PM showed increased tone, stiffness, and decreased elasticity compared with the unaffected PM. The affected PM and UT showed significant time-dependent interactions. Stiffness of the affected PM at stretching was significantly higher 4months post-RT than baseline. Only the tone and elasticity of the affected PM were correlated with subjective symptoms.

    In some cases, a dentist cannot solve the difficulties a patient has with an implant because the implant system is unknown. Therefore, there is a need for a system for identifying the implant system of a patient from limited data that does not depend on the dentist’s knowledge and experience. The purpose of this study was to identify dental implant systems using a deep learning method.

    A dataset of 1282 panoramic radiograph images with implants were used for deep learning. An object detection algorithm (Yolov3) was used to identify the six implant systems by three manufactures. To implement the algorithm, TensorFlow and Keras deep-learning libraries were used. After training was complete, the true positive (TP) ratio and average precision (AP) of each implant system as well as the mean AP (mAP), and mean intersection over union (mIoU) were calculated to evaluate the performance of the model.

    The number of each implant system varied from 240 to 1919. The TP ratio and AP of each implant system varied from 0.50 to 0.82 and from 0.51 to 0.85, respectively. The mAP and mIoU of this model were 0.71 and 0.72, respectively.

    The results of this study suggest that implants can be identified from panoramic radiographic images using deep learning-based object detection. This identification system could help dentists as well as patients suffering from implant problems. However, more images of other implant systems will be necessary to increase the learning performance to apply this system in clinical practice.

Identification of black aspergilli associated with these grains is necessary to make sure of the safety of the grains because its occurrence is an indicator of mycotoxin production. Forty-five isolates were isolated from the samples collected from Upper Egypt’s markets and identified morphologically based on colony color, conidia, stipe and vesicle size and molecularly by using β-tubulin and calmodulin genes. Isolates were divided into 30 strains of Aspergillus welwitschiae and 15 strains of A. niger. We have found new criteria in the morphological identification of A. welwitschiae as its colony color was black to brown with yellow edge, but in A. niger was black with white edge, also A. welwitschiae sometimes produced finely-to-distinctly roughened brownish conidia on malt extract agar (MEA) media. Thirteen isolates of A. welwitschiae and six of A. niger were recognized as potential producers for ochratoxin A.

    To provide a general overview of the organizations dedicated to advance clinical and translational research in the field of psoriatic disease and to describe the current and future opportunities for team science approaches to overcome unmet needs in the field. NPF’s Psoriasis Prevention Initiative aims to identify interventions that can prevent the onset and relapse of psoriatic disease or related comorbidities. The Psorcast Study is a joint venture between PPACMAN and Sage Bionetworks based on patient-generated smartphone measurements of psoriatic disease. Similarly, GRAPPA is involved in a number of projects related to axial PsA, enthesitis prevalence, and biomarker discoveries. As important initiatives bring new targets for diagnosis and therapeutics in psoriatic disease, supra-omising public-private partnerships that can significantly catapult the field forward.

    To compare the results of two groups of patients affected by osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) of the knee and treated with either osteochondral autologous transplantation (OAT) or bone-cartilage paste grafting (PG).

At 24months, a significant improvement from 53.4 ± 9.1 to 80.8 ± 12.9 (p = 0.005) was obtained in the OAT group and from 44.6 ± 11.0 to 71.4 ± 25.3 in the PG group (p = 0.008). A further statistically significant increase was observed at 84months in both groups.
