    Perceived health status, including physical and cognitive fitness, will be negatively associated with future health conditions among old-old adults. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has caused sudden changes in lifestyle. Thus, this study examined the associations of participation in an exercise class before the COVID-19 pandemic and the exercise habits and disruption to the rhythms of daily life during the COVID-19 state of emergency with perceived declining physical and cognitive fitness among community-dwelling old-old adults.

    In July 2020, we carried out a mail survey of community-dwelling old-old adults aged between 77 and 99 years in Bibai, Hokkaido, Japan, to determine their perceived declining physical and cognitive fitness during the COVID-19 state of emergency.

    Sarcopenia has been found to be frequently associated with co-morbidity among patients with heart failure (HF). However, there remain insufficient data to accurately estimate the global prevalence of sarcopenia in HF. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to estimate the current overall prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with HF.

    We searched relevant databases for studies published up to 13 July 2020, assessing sarcopenia in vpatients with HF. After careful screening, data of included articles were extracted with a predesigned Excel form. Methods for direct imputation of GWAS summary-statistics were previously shown to be practically as accurate as summary statistics produced after raw genotype imputation, while incurring orders of magnitude lower computational burden. Given that direct imputation needs a precise estimation of linkage-disequilibrium (LD) and that most of the methods using a small reference panel for example, ~2,500-subject coming from the 1000 Genome-Project, there is a great need for much larger and more diverse reference panels. To accurately estimate the LD needed for an exhaustive analysis of any cosmopolitan cohort, we developed DISTMIX2. DISTMIX2 (a) uses a much larger and more diverse reference panel compared to traditional reference panels, and (b) can estimate weights of ethnic-mixture based solely on Z-scores, when allele frequencies are not available. We applied DISTMIX2 to GWAS summary-statistics from the psychiatric genetic consortium (PGC).     Elevated blood pressure is a leading contributor to adverse cardiovascular outcomes. Some studies suggest there is an association between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and subsequent elevated blood pressure in adulthood. The literature specific to ACEs and blood pressure in women has not been synthesized; thus the purpose of this systematic review was to examine what is known about the association between ACEs and blood pressure in women living in the United States.

    In collaboration with a medical librarian, a systematic search of the literature published between January 1998 and December 2019 was conducted. Original, peer-reviewed publications were identified from PubMed, CINAHL, and PsycINFO databases. Studies were excluded if they (1) were conducted outside the United States, (2) measured acute stress or adult stressors, or (3) measured childhood- or pregnancy-related outcomes.

    Of 1740 articles, 12 publications met criteria for inclusion in this study, 8 of which were from cohort studies. Racial and ethnic diversity was limited, with half of the articles in this review consisting of samples that were majority white.
